YUAN JING's COASTAL RESEARCH LAB

Welcome to Yuan Jing' Coastal Research Lab at Tsinghua University! We study the physical processes related to various coastal and ocean engineering problems, such as hydrodynamics of ocean renewable energy, coastal sediment transport, novel floating structures, wave-current boundary layer, and etc. We combine laboratory experiments and high-fidelity numerical simulations to study the fundamental fluid-mechanics problems. We also develop simple-yet-realistic theoretical or empirical models for engineering applications.

欢迎来到袁兢副教授的清华大学海岸与海洋工程课题组。我们研究着眼于海岸与海洋工程领域内的热点问题，包括海上新能源开发中的流体力学问题、海岸泥沙动力学、新型漂浮式结构物、波流耦合边界层等。通过将水工实验与高仿真数值模拟相结合，探索各种流体现象的物理机制。在此基础上，开发简单且实际的理论或经验模型，以用于大尺度数值模拟或工程应用。本课题组长期招收博士研究生及博士后。
